What I found something sweet in Kyoto is a sachet of Ishiguro-Kouho. I usually keep it in my bag, and it gives off a sweet sweet flagrance. One more sweet thing I found was in unexpected place! -- a decoration of the gate of Higashi-Honganji Temple. It's made of colored glass with the shape of heart! Isn't it so sweet?

『新年的鏡餅』

在漫畫或是日劇中，只要是過年都會看到『鏡餅』的擺設。
所謂的『鏡餅』是過年的時候供俸給神明的供品，據?新年的時候，年神會帶來幸運和福份到?個家庭拜訪，然後依附在鏡餅上。日本人會在1/11的『鏡開日』把鏡餅敲成小塊，煮成雜煮（把麻?加以醬油或味噌調味煮來吃的其中一種日本新年料理），祈求一年的順利。
如果在新年期間剛好有機會入住日式旅館，也許就有機會可以吃到??

【嵐山花燈路2015年　燦爛！】
11日開始的嵐山夜燈將嵐山映照在夜空中，傾倒遊客。
往年嵐山夜燈開始時，紅葉已經謝落，但今年因為受到地毬變暖的"恩惠"，現在還可以訢賞到紅葉。
夜燈下的紅葉燦爛輝煌！
到12月20日結束為止還有1個星期，請大傢不要錯過大好時機，一定要來嵐山呀！

This annual light up event, held from the 11th through the 20th of December this year, amazes her visitors as always.

Though the illumination usually starts after the red leaves fall, but this year, it's quite special.

Because of the warm weather, the trees turn red later than usual.

Now you can see the beautiful red leaves being lit up gorgeously!!
