京都的夏天已經悄悄來了，我們的和服亦開始換上夏裝了。
很多客人都問，夏天的和服不就是浴衣嗎?
其實，和服也有冬夏之分，冬天和服稱為袷（あわせ），夏天和服稱為単衣（ひとえ），那到底兩者有甚麼分別呢?
最簡單的分辦方法是，袷（冬天的和服）?裡有加有裹布，而単衣就只有和服表面的一層。

Summer is approaching, our kimono has also been changed to summer ones. Most people think that summer kimono=yukata, but is it true?
In fact, there are two types of kimono for summer and winter respectively. Winter ones are called "Awase" (袷) where there is a layer of inner lining. For summer ones, they are called "Hitoe"(ひとえ) which has only one layer.
Yukata is another type of traditional Japanese clothing for summer. So, don't mix up Summer Kimono and Yukata next time when you come to Japan!
